Wednesday | 010616
Supposed to be, I won’t go to school because I don’t have classes on Wednesday and I planned to spend it for final revision in Advanced Acctg for we’ll have our preliminary exam the next day. But, as always, things don’t go as planned.
My co-officer in JPIA who happened to be my classmate, too sent me a DM in Twitter that we’ll have to check the prices of some possible venues for our Fellowship Night that would be held on Feb. 12. So I spent the morning for revising and then I went to school on the afternoon to meet my two fellow officers and did our assigned task. We went to Grand Gazebo and San Antonio Resort and asked for the prices and we’re done. We then went back to school and we’ve decided to unwind a bit and agreed to go to 7-eleven. We were four (me, Tiny, Artemio and Ibzan). I didn’t spent a penny because it was Ibzan and Artemio who paid for everything. After almost an hour, we went home so we could use the remaining hours of the day to review.
Thursday | 010716
I got up early to review a bit. I guess, I’ve started the day right. Idk but I didn’t felt anxious that time, but relaxed instead. Maybe this is the feeling you get if you reviewed ahead of time and you knew that you’re prepared. This feeling is what you get when you don’t cram and this feeling is great, I’m telling you.
I was also happy when we checked our test paper in Mgt Acctg because I got a quite good score. I was also picked to explain our assignment in front of the class.
Then, we had our exam in Adv. Acctg. I was able to study almost everything in the exam, but I can’t guarantee that I’ve remembered everything. Anyway, I did my best. I hope I did well.
Friday | 010816
I turned twenty this day and for me it was extra special. I feel loved. I feel appreciated and valued. I didn’t publicized my birthday on Facebook partly because I don’t want everyone to know about it and also to know if who will really remember. But then, a few posted greetings on my wall and maybe that reminded the ones who saw it. My classmates also greeted me. I would always love receiving greetings, yea.
We had one class in the afternoon, so I asked my gals to go somewhere and eat something, but they didn’t send me any reply. I was just with Alaine that time because, according to Alaine, April went somewhere and I actually didn’t know that she left.
Alaine and I decided to stay in school and wait for the reply of the two. We waited and waited and waited. Then finally they replied. April asked if we could meet at Lyka’s boarding house, but when I text-ed Lyka, she said she was still in Robinson’s. But finally, we settled to meet at Lyka’s.
When we arrived there, they asked me to open the door and I wondered why and finally sensed that something’s going on. Then, I saw April’s tab and was surprised that April was already there. When I opened the door, I saw balloons everywhere others were hanging with envelopes at the end, and April holding a cake.
OMG! It was one of the best surprises I’ve ever received. I was so delighted and I can’t help but cry. I was really surprised. I didn’t expect that they were preparing for something because we were in school. They’re definitely the best!
When we noticed that it was already getting dark, we decided to go to the beach to have a dinner. It was mine and Lyka’s treat (because she wasn’t able to give us a treat during her birthday. Which is also in my favor because, I could save, haha). My stomach’s so satisfied, then, but I wasn’t satisfied of the fruit shake. It’s way expensive for its size, but anyway.
I then went to Alberto’s to meet my mom, my aunt and my cousin. My mom bought pizza for me and for the whole fam because she knows how much I like pizza! Then, we went home.
There’s nothing like a grand celebration at home. It’s not a thing in our family. As long as we’re all well and together, that’s more than a gift for me.
I’m blessed beyond measure because I have the best people in my life!

Saturday for me is the time to recap all the lessons we had for the week and also for doing some of the household chores, but my lazy self over-took me. I’ve done nothing productive. Ugh! But I’m glad I got to talk with my two sibs asking them about their love life. Hahaha.
