Hello there, whisperers! Here’s a little quick update to compensate my lack of post for the past couple of weeks.
My last semester in college has started and life’s getting a li’l bit busier each day. We also started our On-the-Job-Training as a curriculum requirement.
That’s me and my gals taking groufies after our duty. That was last Wednesday (Nov. 23).
If you’re wondering, yes, the four of us work on the same office. We were all assigned in the Admin & Finance Division. By the way, we’re having our OJT in the Department of Agrarian Reform in our province. Some days we’re busy, some days I’m just too idle. The three of us (me, April and Alaine) are only required to work for 160 hrs, while Lyka should complete at least 300 hrs. You might be wondering why. It’s because different degree programs has different curriculum (well, if that makes sense).
Also, me and my group mates are trying to work on our thesis, which is to develop or improve the accounting information system of our selected entity. We’re required to finish the first four chapters until the first week of December.
Most of my days are composed of attending reviews. Since I’m already on my last semester, all the remaining subjects I have are review subjects. I’m quite enjoying. I don’t have to stress myself with minor (na feeling major) subjects anymore. Everything is all about Accounting. Everyday, we’re facing Accounting. It might sound weird and I don’t know but, I’m enjoying the kind of setup we currently have. It makes me feel like I’m getting so much closer to my dream. I’m getting motivated, and I’m hoping I’ll be more motivated than I am now for the coming days. I don’t want to lose this motivation in my system. I badly need them to survive.
So that’s pretty much it for this quick update. I hope you’re all doing good. God bless. :)
Who would have thought that we’re now down to our last General Assembly? Whoa! Here are again the cliche lines that go “It seems like yesterday,” and “Time flies so fast.”
It was last September 28 and was held at Capiz Bay. To tell you frankly, it’s not one of the most remarkable General Assembly I’ve ever had, but it’s memorable in a way.
The program didn’t start on time because of some inevitable circumstances, and the service for our sound system came late, but the show must go on, so it did.
Lunchtime was also a bummer for our group. We forgot to prepare rice and we didn’t have eating utensils, but shout out to the SnG peeps who managed to find a way (you know who you are), thank you!
The flow of the program for the whole day wasn’t that smooth. We canceled some activities because of the bad weather, but still, it was a success. I was even planning to roam around the place and take a few photos, but the weather wasn’t cooperative that time, so okay.
SnG was the most victorious that day for our group has bagged almost all of the awards. Siguro ganyan talaga kapag graduating, pinagbibigyan. Lol, just kiddin’. Our group is just really good and participative.

After the event, our group settled to stay a little longer in the place. Some of our mates ordered a few bottles of beer and we had some teasing and shared laughter in between. After they finished their drinks we decided to go home because it was already dark and raining.
To wrap it up, that wasn’t a very fun day, I mean, not as what I expected it would, but it’s still a day worth remembering.
